Owner of game shop is indicted in child sex case
The owner of Gamestation Section 19, a video game shop on Lemay Ferry Road, has been indicted on an array of charges involving inappropriate sexual conduct with young men at his store, police said Thursday.
Leland Beasley, 41, of St. Louis, is charged with two counts of first-degree child molestation, five counts of first-degree statutory sodomy, two counts of third-degree assault and attempted statutory sodomy. He was held in lieu of a $250,000 cash-only bond.
Beasley had been charged Jan. 6, with one count of child molestation. A St. Louis County grand jury handed down the additional charges Wednesday.
County police said they believe Beasley had contact with at least 10 teens at the shop between March 2006 and January.
